His spirit and music live on through The Cashbags, delivering a live experience that feels authentic, powerful, and timeless. At the heart of the show is American-born Robert Tyson, who embodies Johnny Cash with such striking vocal and visual similarity that audiences often believe they are seeing the original himself. Alongside him, Valeska Kunath shines as June Carter Cash, joined by Stephan Ckoehler, David Seezen, and Willie Sieger as the legendary Tennessee Three.

The current tour “One Hit at a Time” says it all: from “Folsom Prison Blues” and “I Walk the Line” to “Ring of Fire”, “Jackson”, and “Hurt”, all the timeless classics are performed with passion and authenticity. The show takes audiences on a journey through Cash’s career – from the raw Sun Records rock’n’roll era to moving acoustic renditions of his later American Recordings. Special highlights include June Carter’s charming duets and tributes to the legendary TV specials.

After 16 busy years on the road, with countless tours and more than half a million thrilled fans across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and beyond, The Cashbags are set to return with brand-new dates for the 2025/26 season.
